Storage Conditions:

·         If you want to protect seat and seals, then do not unpack the valves until they are ready for installation. By doing this your valves can be protected from debris and dust which may eventually seat leakage.

·         If you want to store it for long period of time then keep it in a cool well ventilated space.

Installation:

·         This Valve can be installed in any orientation.  But it will be best if it can be installed upright especially in bigger sizes valves for reducing load on the shaft generated by the actuator or gearbox trying to pull away.

·         You must check the material of the valve, disc and seat before installation. Make sure that there are no defects during storage and transportation.

·         Check the pressure rating of the valve vs the requirement of application.

·         Complete all welding works before installation of valve.

·         Ensure that there is no welding residue, rust, waste or other debris in the pipeline before installation. If there is then Wash with water, mild detergent.

·         Clean the surface of flange that will come in touch with butterfly valve for ensuring, it is free of debris and rust and Wash with water or a mild detergent if needed.

·         Once pipelines are centered, and then place the bolts so that the bottom of the valves can rest upon them for preventing the valve from falling through.
